I’m Binah. I work with adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, identity, maternal mental health, and relationship concerns. I hold a PhD in Social Welfare from Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work and an MSSW from Columbia University, with extensive training in Motivational Interviewing. I believe healing happens through authentic connection and collaboration, and I work alongside you, building on the strengths you already bring.

Motivational Interviewing, person-centered and culturally responsive.
Motivational Interviewing is central to how I work, a person-centered approach that helps you strengthen your own motivation and move toward the changes you want. I pay close attention to how culture, race, faith, and lived experience shape emotional well-being, and I aim for care that honors all of it. Alongside my clinical work I serve as an Adjunct Professor, teaching and mentoring future social workers, and my research focuses on maternal health, intersectionality, and the impact of anti-Black racism on health outcomes. Clinically supervised by Mavis Smith, LCSW.
